8-Player Tournament

The 8v8 draw will have four teams and consist of three rounds. The team with the most Tournament Points (TPs) at the end of the Round Three wins (see Tourney rules for how TPs are awarded). If there is tie for first place, the tiebreaker will go to overall team accumulated points and then to overall team accumulated K/D if necessary or the tying teams can elect to play a bonus playoff round. The match-ups have been chosen at random.

4-Player Tournament

The 4v4 draw will be a little different because there are fourteen teams and I don't want thirteen rounds of tourney play. The teams will be split into two divisions, each with seven teams, so there will be six rounds total. This will be a slightly modified round-robin, as the odd-team out in each division will instead play each other, rather than someone in their division.

The team in each division with the most Tournament Points (TPs) at the end of Round Six (see Tourney rules for how TPs are awarded) will go on to play a championship round. If there is tie for first place or in the championship round, the tiebreaker will go to overall team accumulated points and then to overall team accumulated K/D if necessary or the tying teams can elect to play a bonus playoff round (or in the case of the championship, yet another round). The match-ups and divisional lineups have been chosen at random.

Tournament matches may start officially Noon CDT on May 23, 2008. Round One will officially end on May 30, 2008, or whenever all matches in the tournament (either one) are complete.
